On 15.08.2026, Saturday, the 80th Independence Day was celebrated at Don Bosco Anbu Illam with the participation of students from the Continuing Education Centre and children from the Don Bosco Anbu Illam Reception Unit. The programme began with the flag-hoisting ceremony by Mr. Jayaraman, followed by a special address by Rev. Dr. Amal Jeyarayan, Director of Don Bosco Anbu Illam. The Continuing Education Centre students presented a variety of cultural programmes, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebration. The programme concluded with a message of patriotism and unity.
